Since the introduction of smart watches Galaxy Watch 3 only half a year has passed, but "rumors" about their successor are already spreading through the airwaves. New models Galaxy Watch could support blood sugar monitoring, according to speculation last month. Now more details about the upcoming Samsung watch have leaked.

According to the reliable leaker Ice universe, Samsung is planning to introduce two new models of the series this year Galaxy Watch 4 - Galaxy Watch 4 to Galaxy Watch Active 4 (apparently it skips the model name Galaxy Watch Active 3). Both watches could reportedly be launched sometime in the second quarter of this year, which would be earlier than in previous years, as Samsung usually presents new watches only in the penultimate quarter.

The new generation of watches should be available in their sizes and in variants with LTE and Bluetooth. Galaxy Watch Active 2 brought support for ECG measurement and fall detection and Galaxy Watch 3 support for SpO2 measurement or blood oxygen measurement. New Galaxy Watch they will reportedly support non-invasive blood sugar measurement in addition to the aforementioned functions, which means that there would be no need to prick the user's finger. The only feature that seems to be missing is skin temperature monitoring.

There is also talk "behind the scenes" that at least one of the next models Galaxy Watch will be software built on androidov platform Wear OS, not on Tizen, which surely many fans would "wearables" from Samsung they welcomed. Tizen has long been criticized for its closedness and cumbersome user interface.
