Just a few hours after Samsung started rolling out the One UI 3.1 build update on Galaxy S10 Lite, started distributing it on last year's mid-range smartphone Galaxy M51. At the moment, users in Russia are getting it.
The new update carries the firmware version M515FXXU2CUB7 and should soon spread from Russia to other countries. It includes the March security patch.
Galaxy The M51 is still a relatively new smartphone – it was launched almost exactly half a year ago. Factory ran on Androidu 10 and the One UI 2.1 build, so this is the first time it has received a major system update. At the moment, it is not known what specific features the One UI 3.1 update brings to the phone, but it is almost certain that they will not be advanced features such as wireless DeX. Galaxy Therefore, the M51, as a representative of the middle class, should mainly be concerned with the news with the "lowest common denominator", such as improved native applications or user interface.
The update with One UI 3.1 arrived in the past days and weeks, among other things, on the phones of the series Galaxy S20, Note 20 and Note 10, foldable smartphones Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Z Flip and Z Flip 5G smartphone Galaxy S20 FE or flagship tablets Galaxy Table S7.
