Samsung's upcoming smartphones for the middle class Galaxy The A52 and A72 are likely to be very hot items – they should get a number of features from the flagships, such as a higher refresh rate, IP67 certification or optical stabilization of the camera. Thanks to the many leaks of the last few days, we know practically everything about them, and perhaps the only thing that remained unknown was their release date. Now Samsung may have revealed them itself.

As a Twitter user named FrontTron noticed, Samsung announced over the weekend that it would stream the event Galaxy Unpacked March 2021, during which both phones should be presented, will take place on March 17. However, the release of the date appears to have been premature as the invitation to the live broadcast has since been withdrawn.

Just to remind - Galaxy The A52 should have a Super AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6,5 inches, FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz (for the 5G version it should be 120 Hz), a Snapdragon 720G chipset (for the 5G version it will be Snapdragon 750G), 6 or 8 GB of operating system and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory, a quad camera with a resolution of 64, 12, 5 and 5 MPx, a 32 MPx selfie camera, an under-display fingerprint reader, Androidem 11 with One UI 3.1 superstructure and a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh and support for fast charging with a power of 25 W.

Galaxy The A72 should get a Super AMOLED screen with a 6,7-inch diagonal, FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a Snapdragon 720G chipset, 6 and 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory, a quad camera with a resolution of 64, 12, 8 and 2 MPx, stereo speakers and a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. Like its sibling, it should have a fingerprint reader integrated into the display and support 25W fast charging. However, it will reportedly not be available in a 5G version.
