Samsung and South Korean mobile operator SK Telecom have reportedly joined forces again to create a second smartphone Galaxy, which will be equipped with a so-called quantum RNG chip for advanced security. The QRNG chip was developed by SK Telecom together with its subsidiary IDQ, so the technology remains exclusive to South Korea and its largest mobile operator. Its purpose is to create truly random numbers (RNG - random number generator) and unpredictable patterns to increase the security of various applications and services, including SK Pay.

According to South Korean media, Samsung is working with SK Telecom on a "double" because the predecessor was a big enough success - it sold 300 units in the first six months of sales (it was released on the market last May).

Galaxy And Quantum 2 is said to be launched in April, at a price between 700-000 won (roughly 800-000 crowns). If so, standard Galaxy The A82 5G should go on sale around the same time.
