In the past, Oppo has made a name for itself not only with its smartphones, but also with various innovations, starting with a 125W charger, ending with a concept scrolling phone. As we know from unofficial reports, it is also working on its first foldable smartphone. Now it has penetrated the ether informace, that he will put it on stage maybe in a few weeks.
Tato informace comes from a trusted source - a Chinese leaker going by the name Digital Chat Station. He wrote on Twitter that we can expect the unveiling of the Chinese manufacturer's flexible phone between April and June.
As display industry insider Ross Young reported some time ago, Oppo will introduce four foldable smartphones this year. At least for one, Samsung should supply a flexible (folding inward) panel. Its Samsung Display division is said to be developing a display for one of Xiaomi's flexible phones (it is said to be planning to present up to three "puzzles" this year).
This year is likely to be rich in foldable smartphones. In addition to Oppo and Xiaomi, Samsung should also present its flexible devices (probably Galaxy From Fold 3 a Z flip 3), Vivo and, perhaps surprisingly for some, Google. Its second flexible phone – Mate x2 – introduced Huawei to the scene already in February.
