Samsung is reportedly set to launch two lightweight tablets this year – Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and Galaxy Tab S7 Lite. Recently, the first mentioned under the model designation SM-T225 appeared in the Geekbench benchmark, where it scored 810 points in the single-core test and 3489 points in the multi-core test, as well as in the certification documents of the Bluetooth SIG organization, according to which it will support the Bluetooth 5 LE standard. It has now appeared - under the model designation SM-T220 - in the certification records of the US government agency FCC, which confirmed that it will have a battery with a capacity of 5100 mAh and support 15W fast charging.

FCC certification documents additionally revealed that the Wi-Fi variant Galaxy The Tab A7 will support dual-band Wi-Fi and that the dimensions of the tablet are 212,53 x 124,7 x 246,41 mm.

According to the "behind the scenes" information so far, the affordable tablet will also get an 8,4-inch display, Helio P22T chipset, 3 GB of memory, USB-C, 3,5 mm jack and Android 11 with One UI 3.0 superstructure.

As regards Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, it should be more equipped and offer an LTPS TFT display with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 px, a Snapdragon 750G chipset, 4 GB of operating memory, Android 11 (probably with One UI 3.1 superstructure) and support for 5G networks. It should be available in 11-inch and 12,4-inch sizes. Both tablets will reportedly be launched in June.
