Conceptual renderings of Xiaomi's alleged first foldable smartphone have leaked into the air. At first glance, it resembles Samsung's flip-flop phone Galaxy From Flip.

The renders show a large external display and a square photo module with three sensors, reminiscent of the photo module from the current flagship Xiaomi Mi 11. The main display, which cannot be seen in its entirety, is practically bezel-less.

According to unofficial reports, the first "jigsaw" of the Chinese smartphone giant will have a design that better protects the flexible panel. In addition, the main display is said to have no cutout for the front-facing camera, suggesting that the phone could feature an in-display camera. "Behind the Scenes" informace also mention that the device will use Samsung's flexible panel and that it will be the cheapest foldable smartphone on the market.

Xiaomi should work on two more flexible phones. According to the leaker, one of them will be Digital Chat Station Mi Mix 4 Pro Max, which is said to be launched soon, and which could actually be the first foldable smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer.

As you know from our previous news, Samsung is also preparing foldable devices for this year (apparently they will be phones Galaxy From Fold 3 a Z flip 3), Oppo, Vivo or Google. This year could be the year when foldable smartphones slowly start to become mainstream.
