Samsung has launched a new ultra-wide monitor in Vietnam called the Samsung S34A650, which is designed for both offices and gaming. It will offer a deep curvature of 1000R, a diagonal of 34 inches (86 cm), a resolution of 2K (3440 x1440 px) and support for a refresh rate of 100 Hz.
The new monitor also got an aspect ratio of 21:9, a contrast ratio of 4000:1, a response time of 5 ms, a 10-bit color depth, a luminance of 300 cd/m², viewing angles of 178°, support for the AMD FreeSync function and, last but not least, a function called Eco Light A sensor that allows the monitor to adjust the brightness according to the ambient lighting.
In terms of connectivity, the novelty has an HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort 1.2, three USB 3.0 type A ports, a USB type C port supporting the USB Power Delivery protocol with a power of up to 90 W, an Ethernet port and a 3,5 mm jack.
At this time, it is not known at what price the monitor will be sold in Vietnam. According to various indications, it could later reach other markets, including Europe.
