After a few days, what Samsung on last year's flagship phones Galaxy S20 released an update with the March security patch, they started getting more. This time, the new software update is supposed to improve the performance of the camera.

Update for Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy The S20 Ultra carries the firmware version G98xxXXU7DUC7 and is really "chubby" - it's about 500 MB. At the moment it is only available in Germany, but soon – within days, weeks at the most – it should spread to other corners of the world.

Samsung mentions in the release notes that the update improves camera performance, but doesn't say what specific improvements those are. Due to the size of the update, it is possible that it improves image processing, stability or camera performance. It includes "mandatory" fixes (as always unspecified) bugs and improvements to device performance and stability.

If you happen to be in Germany right now and haven't received the new update yet, you can check its availability manually by opening the menu Settings, by tapping the option Software update and selecting an option Download and install.
