Less than two weeks ago, we reported that Samsung was apparently working on a 5G version of the phone Galaxy M62. Now it looks like it should be launched soon, at least in India.

A new Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-M626B/DS appeared on the website of the Indian agency BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), which appears to be the 5G (and dual-SIM) variant of the smartphone Galaxy M62 (it is also known in the country under the name Galaxy F62). Certification by the Bluetooth SIG organization has previously revealed that Galaxy The M62 5G will essentially be rebranded Galaxy A52 5G.

The smartphone should therefore get a 6,5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a Snapdragon 750G chipset, 6 or 8 GB of operating memory and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory. Android 11 with the user interface One UI 3.1, a quad camera with a 64 MPx main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 32 MPx selfie camera, an under-display fingerprint reader or a USB-C port, but it could have a bigger battery.

Galaxy The M62 5G should be available in some other Asian markets besides India, it probably won't make it to Europe.
