Samsung's new flagship series Galaxy S21 is extremely successful on the domestic market - its phones have already sold a million units. The series reached the milestone less than two months after its launch. So the bet on lower prices seems to have paid off for the Korean tech giant.

For comparison - last year's flagship series Galaxy S20 reached one million units only three months after the start of sales, the previous year's "flagship" Galaxy S10 however, it was done in 47 days. As is known, Samsung usually launches its new flagships in February, but this year it did so already in January. Standard Galaxy The S21 is sold in South Korea for 999 won (roughly 990 crowns), while Galaxy The S20 had a price tag of 1 won (less than CZK 240) when it was launched. The tech giant said that in "its" market, sales make up the standard Galaxy S21 52% of all line sales Galaxy S21. Model S21Ultra represented 27% of sales and "plus" 21%. Unlocked variants of the range in the country accounted for 20% of sales, while 60% of units were sold through online channels.

The new flagship series is a sales hit not only in South Korea, but also in USA.
