Samsung flagship phones Galaxy S21 boasts some of the best cameras on the smartphone market. However, the Korean tech giant has been improving the quality of the camera since the release of the series and adding new features to the photo application. Now he started releasing a big software update to the world, which is supposed to further improve the camera.

New update for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21Ultra it is currently distributed in India, with plans to expand to other markets soon. The update carries firmware version G99xxXXU2AUC8 and is just over 1GB in size. It includes the April security patch. The update brings one major change – while the use of portrait mode was previously limited to a camera with a telephoto lens or an ultra-wide-angle sensor, now the main camera can also be used to take portrait shots. Overall camera performance has also been improved, but Samsung isn't giving details. If you are a user Galaxy S21, S21+ or S21 Ultra, you may have already received a notification that a new update is available. If you haven't received them yet, you can, as always, check for the update manually by opening the menu Settings, by tapping the option Software update and selecting an option Download and install.
