Samsung has started for its flagship foldable phone Galaxy From Fold 2 release a new update. It brings camera improvements and a new – April – security patch.

The latest update carries firmware version F916BXXU1DUCE and is currently available to users Galaxy From Fold 2 in Germany and Russia. In addition to the new security patch, it includes improved device performance and unspecified bug fixes. Like past updates of this kind, this one should roll out to other corners of the world soon – probably in the order of days, weeks at the most.

Samsung hasn't released detailed release notes yet, but we can't expect any radical improvements to the camera app. The mere association of "camera enhancements" can mean anything from better low-light sensitivity and improved focus to improved photography app stability. As for the April security patch, it's currently unknown (for security reasons) what it fixes, but we should know in the coming weeks.
