The Samsung Championship of the Czech Republic in mobile games reveals the details of its sixth season. The best Czech and Slovak smartphone players will compete again in the new year in the Brawl Stars game. The team of football player Jakub Jankt Sampi.Tipsport will try to defend the title, which should also be among the big favorites this year. For the first time ever, there will also be a tournament in the new game League of Legends: Wild Rift. It will also take place with the official support of the publisher Riot Games. The first qualification for the November finals of the Samsung MČR in mobile games will start on April 4.

The PLAYzone agency revealed the shape of the new season of the largest Czech tournament aimed at mobile game players. The sixth annual Samsung Championship of the Czech Republic in mobile games reveals two game titles so far. The first is the tactical shooter Brawl Wars, in which players also competed last year. The second ranked game is the mobile version of the popular MOBA League of Legends, which is one of the most popular computer games in the world. In it, two teams of five compete against each other with the aim of destroying the opponent's main building. League of Legends: Wild Rift will know its winners for the very first time, as it is still a novelty that the developer Riot Games introduced only in the second half of 2020. In addition, Riot Games expressed official support for the tournament. The official phones of this year's championship are new products from the Samsung series Galaxy A, which are intended for young players.

Each game will feature several monthly tournament series (six for Brawl Stars and five for LoL: Wild Rift) and two special tournaments (MidSeason and Last Call). The eight best Czech and Slovak teams from each game will qualify for the autumn finals. It will then produce a single team that will win the title of champion in 2021. From the beginning of April to the second half of September, teams will have the opportunity to participate in open qualifications on the PLAYzone.cz portal and thus fight for their place at the Samsung MČR in mobile games. Last year, the tournament took place only over the Internet without the participation of players and spectators, so the organizers hope that this year it will be possible to return to the premises of the Brno exhibition center, where the finals normally take place. The total subsidy of the tournament is 216 crowns.

The most important matches of the season will be broadcast on the Playzone channel under the Twitch platform, then on the Prima COOL Facebook pages and also on the HbbTV application of the Prima television stations. Mobile phone manufacturer Samsung, which has traditionally supported the championship, is once again becoming a strategic partner. Other partners are also linked to the event by many years of cooperation. In the sixth season, they are the electronics retailer Datart and the manufacturer of network elements TP-LINK.
