As you know from our previous news, Samsung presented its first TVs at CES 2021 at the beginning of the year NeoQLED. However, it was not known until now that they have a chip with support for the Wi-Fi 6E standard for faster wireless connections. It was revealed by Samsung itself.

Specifically, the top models QN7921A and QN900A can boast of the MT800AU chip from MediaTek's workshop. The chip supports the Bluetooth 5.2 standard and allows a maximum transfer rate of 1,2 GB/s (provided that the user has a router with Wi-Fi 6E support and a fast enough Internet connection). Bluetooth 5.2 brings a wider range, a higher data transfer rate and natively supports fully wireless headphones and higher quality audio codecs.

Samsung was the first brand in the world to introduce a TV supporting the Wi-Fi 6 standard last year, and now it has become the first to launch a TV supporting Wi-Fi 6E. For the first time in the world, a smartphone also supports this standard Galaxy S21Ultra.

Thanks to the slowly expanding latest Wi-Fi standard, users can experience cutting-edge wireless technology that brings faster data transfer speeds and fast access to Internet services such as 8K video streaming and high-definition cloud gaming.
