As you know from our news, Samsung started on the phone yesterday Galaxy S20FE 5G release an update with the April security patch. Now it has been revealed that the latest firmware is not exactly the same as the one that came out for the 4G version two weeks earlier.

While the update for the 4G version Galaxy S20FE brought only the latest security patch, the update for the 5G variant is also supposed to fix the touch screen issue, or rather "improve its stability", according to the published release notes. Even after a series of updates in the past months, it was not completely resolved. In addition, the update is supposed to improve the stability of the device itself.

The question is why the problem with the touchscreen is only solved by the update for the 5G version. It's possible that after releasing an update with a new security patch for the 4G variant, Samsung found that the touchscreen issue persisted and incorporated the fix into the then-yet-unreleased update for the 5G version. It is therefore very likely that the 4G variant will soon receive a new update with this fix.

And what about you? You are the owner of the 4G or 5G version Galaxy S20 FE and ever encountered touch screen issues? Let us know in the comments below the article.
