Samsung's current flagship chipset Exynos 2100 it offers significant improvements over its predecessor Exynos 990. Unlike it, it does not overheat or throttle performance, and it also has significantly better energy efficiency. Even so, Samsung is said not to put this chip in its next flagship foldable smartphone Galaxy From Fold 3.

According to reliable leaker Ice universe, it will be Galaxy The Fold 3 uses the Snapdragon 888 chipset. Despite the improvements mentioned above, the Exynos 2100 is a step behind the Snapdragon 888, especially in terms of graphics chip performance and energy efficiency. This may be the reason why the Korean tech giant decided to favor Qualcomm's latest chipset instead of its own. This also means that the third Fold will not be powered by "next-gen" Exynos with a mobile graphics chip from AMD.

Galaxy Z Fold 3 will have a 7,55-inch internal and 6,21-inch external display, at least 12 GB of RAM and at least 256 GB of internal memory, IP certification for water and dust resistance, support for the S Pen, a battery with a capacity of 4380 mAh, Androidem 11 and the One UI 3.5 superstructure, and compared to its predecessor, it should have a thinner body and be 13 grams lighter (and therefore weigh 269 g).

Samsung will reportedly introduce the phone - together with another "puzzle" Galaxy From Flip 3 – in June or July.
