In recent weeks, Samsung released an update with the April security patch to a whole range of devices. But since the month is coming to an end, it's time to start releasing a new security update. Its first addressee is the current flagship series Galaxy S21.

The new update carries firmware version G99xBXXU3AUDA, is a whopping 1,2GB, and is currently being distributed in some European countries. Like the previous security updates, this one should reach other markets in the coming days.

Due to its freshness, it is not yet known what vulnerabilities the May patch fixes, we should find out in the coming weeks anyway.

The release notes also mention "mandatory" unspecified bug fixes and device stability improvements, in addition to improvements to the camera app and the Quick Share data sharing service. The May security patch should be rolled out to Samsung's entire range of devices in the coming days and weeks, from budget smartphones to Galaxy A and M after other flagships.
