Series phone user group Galaxy The S20 (including the S20 FE) filed a lawsuit against Samsung in the US. In it, he accuses the Korean technology giant of a "widespread defect" in the glass of the cameras of all models Galaxy S20.

The lawsuit, which was filed in the District Court of New Jersey, alleges that Samsung violated the warranty agreement, several consumer protection laws and committed fraud by selling the smartphones Galaxy S20 with cameras whose glass broke without warning. Samsung allegedly refused to cover the problem under warranty, even though it was aware of the defect, according to the plaintiffs. According to the lawsuit, the problem specifically lies in the accumulated pressure under the camera glass. The plaintiffs had to pay up to 400 dollars (roughly 8 crowns) for the repair, only to have their glass broken again. If the suit gains class-action status, the plaintiffs' lawyers will seek reimbursement for repairs, "loss of value" damages and other compensation. Samsung has not yet commented on the lawsuit.
