Samsung except new laptops Galaxy book, Galaxy Book Pro a Galaxy Book Pro 360 launched at yesterday's event Galaxy Unpacked also “the most powerful device Galaxy", as he enticed a few weeks ago in the trailer for this event. It is a new gaming laptop Galaxy Book Odyssey, which is the first in the world to boast a powerful GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card.

The novelty received a 15,6-inch LCD display with a Full HD resolution, 11th generation Intel Core i7 or Core i5 processors and a GeForce RTX 3050 Max-Q or RTX 3050 Ti Max-Q GPU. The new graphics cards have 4 GB of GDDR6 memory and promise a smooth gaming experience in Full HD resolution with a minimum frame rate of 60 FPS.

The notebook is equipped with 8, 16 and 32 GB of operating memory and up to a 1 TB SSD disk. The storage can be easily expanded, as the device has two PCIe NVMe slots. Software-wise, it runs on the system Windows 10 Home which can be upgraded to Windows 10 Pro.

Other specifications include a professional keyboard, large trackpad, fingerprint reader integrated into the power button, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos certification, Ethernet port, HDMI port, three USB 3.2 ports, two USB-C ports, 3,5mm jack, microSD card slot and there is also support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. The laptop can also easily share wireless headphones Galaxy Buds from your phone or tablet Galaxy.

Samsung has equipped the new product with an 83Wh battery, which is definitely a very solid capacity, however, there are gaming laptops on the market offering a battery capacity of up to 99Wh. The package includes a USB-C charger with a power of 135 W, which is a rarity among gaming laptops, because most of them offer a maximum of 100 W chargers. Charging should be almost lightning fast. Galaxy Book Odyssey will go on sale in August at a price starting at $1 (roughly CZK 399).
