Samsung launched new laptops Galaxy book a Galaxy Book Pro. The first will offer a large selection of processors, the second is tempting with an AMOLED display.
Galaxy The Book will be offered with a total of five processors - 11th generation Intel Core i7, i5, i3, but also "more budget" Pentium Gold and Celeron processors. Models with Core i7 and i5 processors will be available with Intel Iris Xe graphics chip, while the rest will offer Intel UHD Graphics GPU. Samsung will also sell a variant with a discrete GeForce MX450 graphics card. The notebook will be available with 4, 8 and 16 GB of operating memory and a 512 GB SSD disk with NVMe interface.
Otherwise, the device received a TFT LCD display with a diagonal of 15,6 inches and a Full HD resolution. The components are powered by a 54Wh battery. Other specifications include an HD webcam, a fingerprint reader built into the power button, a microSD card slot, two USB-C ports, a 3,5mm jack, LTE, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. The device weighs approximately 1,55 kg and its dimensions are 356,6 x 229,1 x 15,4 mm.
The notebook will be sold in blue and silver (officially called Mystic Blue and Mystic Silver) and will go on sale on May 14 at a price starting at $549 (roughly CZK 11).
Galaxy The manufacturer equipped the Book Pro with an AMOLED display with a diagonal of 13,3 and 15,6 inches and a Full HD resolution, Intel Core i7, i5 and i3 processors, 8, 16 and 32 GB of operating memory and up to a 1TB NVMe SSD drive. 13,3 inch Galaxy Book Pro equipped with a Core i3 processor will be delivered with an Intel UHD Graphics GPU, while models with Core i5 and i3 processors will be supplied with a more powerful Intel Iris Xe graphics chip. The 15,6-inch model will be offered in a similar configuration, with the difference that it will also be available with GeForce MX450 graphics.

The smaller model will be available with LTE connectivity, but lacks an HDMI port. On the contrary, the larger variant has an HDMI port, but lacks LTE. The difference is also in the battery – the 13,3-inch variant has a 63Wh battery, while the larger one is equipped with a 68Wh battery.
Galaxy The Book Pro also got a webcam with HD resolution, a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 6E, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C and USB 3.2 ports and a 3,5mm jack. The device will be one of the lightest notebooks on the market – the smaller model weighs only 0,88 kg, the larger one 1,15 kg.
The novelty will be sold in three colors – silver, blue and pink (Mystic Pink) and will go on sale as Galaxy Book May 14. However, the price will start significantly higher, from $999 (roughly CZK 21).
