Quick Share is a short-distance file sharing service that Samsung originally introduced with last year's flagship smartphones Galaxy S20. It is very similar to the Wi-Fi Direct standard. The service now finally works with laptops, more precisely with the latest series Galaxy Book.

Images, videos, documents, links and other files can now be shared both between compatible laptops (ie Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Pro, Galaxy Book Pro 360 a Galaxy Book Odyssey), and between these laptops and devices Galaxy.

Quick Share greatly simplifies the way files can be shared between compatible devices – eliminating the need to connect devices via the Internet or using cables.

When you're out and about, transferring files from your phone to your computer can be quite a challenge. In this case, most users would probably prefer to send the file to each other via e-mail or use a cloud-based file sharing service. In any case, the whole process is cumbersome and lengthy. With Quick Share, all of this is eliminated. Allows file transfer between devices Galaxy and new laptops Galaxy Book even without an internet connection or cable. There is no restriction on the type of files that can be sent using the service.
