A few weeks after Samsung's new mid-range phone Galaxy A52 released an update with the April security patch, started releasing a new update for it. It brings some new photography features that were introduced with the current flagship series Galaxy S21.

The latest update carries firmware version A525FXXU1AUD2 and is currently distributed in various countries in Europe, Asia and Africa, including Germany, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Egypt and South Africa. He should head to other countries in the world in the coming days.

Update to Galaxy A52 brings three "cool" portrait photography effects - Backdrop, High-Key Mono and Low-Key Mono. These effects debuted in flagship phones Galaxy The S21 and later made their way to other high-end Samsung smartphones. In addition, the update brings improved stability of the touchscreen, improved call quality or better camera performance.

The sibling of the "fifty two" also received an update in recent days Galaxy A72, which brings the April security patch, improved stability and new and improved features. Given its size (around 1GB), it's likely that the latter two items, which Samsung "generically" lists in the changelog of virtually every such update, will be user-tangible this time around.
