Samsung didn't just miss the promotional images for the next flagship flexible phone Galaxy Z Fold 3, but also to its next upcoming "puzzle" - Z Flip 3. They show, among other things, a significantly larger external display, which will no longer have the shape of a strip like its predecessor.

The images suggest that the external screen (according to some older leaks it will be 1,83 inches in size) will be touchscreen, as they show incoming notifications and music player buttons. The display is located to the left of the photo module, which consists of two sensors. Interestingly, the LED flash will not reside in the module, but just below it. The pictures also show that Galaxy Z Flip 3 will have a more angular shape than its predecessor, that it will not have gaps on the sides when closed, and that it will be offered in at least four colors.

According to the leaks so far, the phone will get a 6,7-inch display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a new "super-resistant" protective glass Gorilla Glass Victus, a Snapdragon 855+ or Snapdragon 865 chipset, 128 and 256 GB of internal memory. Android 11 with the upcoming One UI 3.5 superstructure and a battery with a capacity of 3900 mAh. It will reportedly be introduced – along with the aforementioned Fold 3 – in June or July.
