Phone Galaxy The A22 (4G) appeared in the Geekbench 5 benchmark yesterday, which confirmed that it will be powered by the same chipset as Galaxy A32, i.e. Helio G80 from MediaTek.

Geekbench 5 additionally revealed that Galaxy A22 will have 6 GB of RAM and software will run on Androidu 11. In the benchmark, the phone scored 293 points in the single-core test and 1247 points in the multi-core test.

According to the leaks so far, the smartphone will have an AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6,4 inches and a FHD+ resolution, a quad camera with a resolution of 48, 5, 2 and 2 MPx, a 13MPx front camera, a thickness of 8,5 mm and a weight of 185 g. It will apparently be offered even in the 5G version, which should get a 6,4-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution, a Dimensity 700 chipset, a triple camera with a resolution of 48, 5 and 2 MPx, a thickness of 9 mm and a weight of 205 g. Let us recall that Galaxy A22 5G in the above benchmark achieved 562, respectively 1755 points.

Both phones should have a fingerprint reader located on the side, a 3,5mm jack, a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh and support for 15W fast charging, and will very likely be built on software Androidu 11 with One UI 3.1 superstructure.

Galaxy The A22 should be introduced sometime in the second half of the year, Galaxy A22 5G in July.
