Samsung and Google confirmed this week that the former's future smartwatches will no longer run on Tizen OS, but on a new version of the platform WearOS named WearOS 3, which they develop together. This should bring, for example, a redesigned user interface or greater freedom for third-party manufacturers in system modifications.
