Samsung, in cooperation with the Japanese mobile operator NTT Docomo, presented a new special edition of the phone Galaxy S21 to celebrate the upcoming Summer Olympics. This should take place in July and August.

Galaxy The S21 Olympic Games Edition is based on the standard model Galaxy S21, which means it has a 6,2-inch Dynamic AMOLED display. It is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, and even if the official website of the phone does not mention the chipset used, it is likely to be the Snapdragon 888 (as the standard model in Japan is powered by it).

This is not the first smartphone Galaxy, which was created in connection with the upcoming Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Samsung originally planned to launch the smartphone in the Japanese market as an "Olympic" device Galaxy S20+ 5G, however, eventually canceled the release after the Olympics were postponed this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Olympics are now scheduled to take place in July and August, however voices are growing in the country (especially from doctors) that the sports holiday be postponed again due to covid. It is not so excluded that the same fate as Galaxy S20+ 5G Olympic Games Edition also meets "Olympic" Galaxy S21.
