As we reported last week, Samsung is working on the next model in the series Galaxy M - Galaxy M22. Thanks to the Geekbench benchmark, among other things, we know that it will be powered by the Helio G80 chip. Now its camera specs have leaked into the ether.

Main camera Galaxy M22 will have, according to the usual well-informed website GalaxyClub resolution 48 MPx, i.e. the same as the year-old predecessor Galaxy M21. However, its front camera should only have a resolution of 13 MPx, while its predecessor had 20 MPx. It's possible that software optimization will help the phone take better selfies than its predecessor, but we wouldn't count on it entirely.

Otherwise, the smartphone should get 4 GB of operating memory (but it will probably also be available in a variant with 6 GB), Android 11 and a battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh. Considering the predecessor, we can expect it to have a Super AMOLED display with a size of at least 6,4 inches and a FHD+ resolution, a plastic body, a 3,5mm jack or support for fast charging with a power of at least 15W.

It should be available in black, blue and white, and it looks like it will be available in Europe as well. It is not known at the moment when Samsung might launch it.
