You may remember that Samsung introduced monitors last November Smart Monitor M5 and Smart Monitor M7. These were the first monitors from the Korean tech giant that, thanks to being powered by the Tizen OS, also served as smart TVs. Originally, they were only available in a few markets around the world (specifically in the USA, Canada and China). Now the company has announced that they are available worldwide, plus a few new sizes.

The M5 got a new 24-inch variant (it was available in a 27-inch size until now), which is also newly available in white, and the M7 is now available in a 43-inch variant (here, on the other hand, there has been an increase, which by 11 inches straight). Support for Google Assistant and Alexa is also new (until now, the monitors only understood the proprietary voice assistant Bixby).

As a reminder, the M5 has a Full HD display, while the M7 has a 4K resolution, and both offer a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 178° viewing angle, a maximum brightness of 250 nits, support for the HDR10 standard, 10W stereo speakers, and thanks to Tizen, they can run apps like Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV or YouTube and the free streaming service Samsung TV Plus also works on them.
