According to the latest reports, Samsung has started the mass production of the expected flexible phone Galaxy Z Fold 3. This should ensure that the Korean tech giant has enough time to produce and deliver enough units to the global market before its launch. That will probably take place in August.

According to the usually well-informed site winfuture.de, Samsung has begun mass production of all the important components for the pro Galaxy Z Fold 3. The website adds that initial production will be only one-third the size of the tech giant's regular flagship phones. The reason is supposed to be the high price of flexible phones. Even so, Samsung expects the third Fold will sell more than its predecessor last year.

Galaxy According to the leaks so far, Z Fold 3 will get a 7,5-inch Super AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an external display of the same type as the main one with a size of 6,2 inches and support for the same high refresh rate. It should be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chip, which will apparently complement 12 or 16 GB of RAM and 256 and 512 GB of internal memory. The camera should be triple with a resolution of three times 12 MPx and support video recording in 4K resolution at 60 fps. There should be two selfie cameras, one is said to find a place on the external display and have a resolution of 10 MPx, and the other should be hidden under the display and have a resolution of 16 MPx.

In addition, the phone should have a fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, UWB technology, support for 5G networks and Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.0 standards, increased resistance to water and dust, and last but not least, support for the S Pen touch pen. The battery is said to have a capacity of 4400 mAh and support 25W fast charging as well as fast wireless and reverse wireless charging.
