Samsung in addition to introducing an affordable ARM laptop Galaxy Book Go also introduced its more powerful sibling Galaxy Book Go 5G. It is powered by Qualcomm's new flagship Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 chipset.

Galaxy The Book Go 5G got a 14-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD resolution, a 180° swivel joint and a thin body of just under 15 mm. The Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 chip is paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X type operating memory and 128 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded using microSD cards.

The equipment includes a webcam with HD resolution, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos certification, a large trackpad with controls Windows Precision, a USB 2.0 port, two USB-C ports and a combined microphone and headphone input. In terms of wireless connectivity, the notebook supports Wi-Fi 5 (5x MIMO) and Bluetooth 2 in addition to 5.1G networks.

The battery has a capacity of 42 Wh, which should provide the laptop with energy for the whole day, and supports 25W fast charging.

The device also has some ecosystem functions and applications Galaxy, e.g. sharing headphones Galaxy Buds, SmartThings, SmartThings Find, Quick Share, Smart Switch or Samsung TV Plus, and boasts durability according to military standards.

Galaxy The Book Go 5G will be launched this fall, but Samsung has not revealed the price.
