Samsung launched two new tablets a few days ago – Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and Galaxy Tab S7 FE. Both devices are "cut down" versions of tablets Galaxy Tab A7 and Galaxy Tab S7. Now the Korean tech giant has revealed how often it will release software updates for them.

According to Samsung's website, they will Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and Galaxy Tab S7 FE to receive software updates once a quarter. While for the first mentioned tablet the decision makes sense given its low price, for the second it is rather strange. Its 5G variant is sold in Europe for 649 euros (roughly 16 crowns), while an additional 500 euros can be purchased Galaxy Tab S7 LTE with a 120Hz display, a significantly more powerful chipset and better cameras.

Even some smartphones of the series Galaxy And, such as Galaxy A52 or Galaxy A52 5G, they get monthly updates. So it's strange why no device is included in the monthly security update plan Galaxy Tab.

Samsung should still introduce a flagship series this year Galaxy Tab S8, which will apparently consist of three models – S8, S8+ and S8 Ultra. It will reportedly be released in August.
