Thanks to the Internet and technology, it is possible to learn foreign languages in the comfort of your home, but also on the go or during breaks at work or school. Not only various applications can serve this purpose, but also the Czech Internet platform Landigo, the version of which for devices with an operating system Android we have now been given the opportunity to review. How Landigo for Android what does it look like and what's new?
What is Landigo?
Landigo is a universal language learning platform. You can learn English, German, French, Spanish or Italian here. You can use two versions of Landigo - the free version, in which three exercises in the selected language will be sent to your e-mail per day, or the premium version with more options and bonus functions. We tested the Landigo pro for today's review Android in the premium version. Landigo is an Internet platform, which means that you are not tied to a specific application, but you can study and practice in the environment of any web browser on your phone or tablet. As part of the premium version, you can use Landigo on up to five devices at the same time, you also get a grammar video course, you can choose from a total of seven different types of exercises (quiz, slow-motion quiz, dictation, quiz with writing, translation with writing, translation in spirit and translation into Czech ), the "language for survival" program with a selection of basic words and phrases for survival in a foreign country and literally tens of thousands of questions in the exercises, all in Czech. You can adjust the level and number of exercises sent to you at any time, and everything is also divided into clear categories (teaching vocabulary, irregular verbs, idioms, grammar, phrasal verbs or perhaps conversation). You can save selected words in your account during learning, a huge advantage of Landigo is that it will not restrict you in any way because of your mistakes, on the contrary - you can make mistakes here as you please. The creators of Landigo know very well that mistakes move you forward.

As we mentioned in the introduction, you don't need to download any app to learn in the Landiga environment - enter the address in the web browser ¨ and register or log in if you have already created an account. We tested Landigo Premium for teaching English for the purposes of this review. The interface of the web application is pleasantly simple, clear and easy to navigate. On the main page, there is a search bar for the dictionary, along with a signpost that takes you to individual lessons, saved words and quizzes, as well as individual lesson types. From the main page of the Landigo web application, you can immediately go to any level of education. Everything is perfectly clear, comprehensible and understandable from the very first moment - you don't have to search for, enter or set anything complicated. You can easily and quickly switch between individual levels as you wish, as well as between individual sections. From the lesson, you can easily get to the main page, the exercise center, saved exercises or even saved vocabulary.

Vocabulary and vocabulary exercises
If you've used Landigo before, you'll be pleased to know that its new version offers a completely new approach to vocabulary learning. There is a revised dictionary with a total of hundreds of thousands of words in all language variants. What's also great is that the new Landigo dictionary includes not only a simple translation of the term, but also usage data, example sentences, and the ability to play the pronunciation, both in standard and slow-motion versions, plus you can get started right away practice the selected expression. I also liked the option to add my own expressions to the vocabulary, so I wasn't limited to just the words from the standard Landigo exercises when learning. At the bottom of the vocabulary section, there is also an explanatory dictionary along with synonyms, as well as the ability to go to an overview of saved words and saved quizzes, which will make your learning even more effective. Landigo definitely follows the path of creative and imaginative learning instead of the usual drilling, and the individual expressions will get under your skin more easily and permanently.

Summary
I was literally delighted with the Landigo platform. I positively evaluate the variety of exercises, the rich possibilities of choosing the learning method, and the comprehensiveness and variability of the newly revised dictionary. Beginners or less experienced users will certainly appreciate the fact that the platform is perfectly clear and understandable, and does not require any complicated download, installation and setup. The Landiga environment itself is very well done. During the entire time of testing Landigo, I was never bored for a moment, the platform's concept perfectly motivates users and encourages them to continue learning, which is not only fun in Landigo, but also really effective.
I have been receiving exercises from Landigo for several years. It is very useful and fun. It is part of my morning routine to do English and German language exercises. Although I have been teaching English for many years, I always find something new, especially phrasal verbs, they always seem to trouble me.
