Last year, Samsung introduced the successful Odyssey G5 gaming monitors and Odyssey g7. It now expands this range with four new models – the 24-inch Odyssey G3 (G30A), the 27-inch Odyssey G3 (G30A), the 27-inch Odyssey G5 (G50A) and the 28-inch Odyssey G7 (G70A). All have displays with a high refresh rate, Adaptive Sync technology with AMD FreeSync or height-adjustable stands.

Let's start with the highest model, which is the Odyssey G7 (G70A). It got an LCD display with a 4K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, a response time of 1 ms (Gray to Gray rendering) and a maximum brightness of 400 nits. It boasts DisplayHDR 400 certification and is compatible with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies. In terms of connectivity, the monitor offers Auto Source Switch+, a DisplayPort 1.4 connector, an HDMI 2.1 port and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports.

Then there is the Odyssey G5 (G50A) model, which the manufacturer equipped with a display with QHD resolution, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, a maximum brightness of 350 nits, the HDR10 standard and a response time of 1 ms (GTG rendering). It is also compatible with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technologies and has DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 connectors.

The Odyssey G3 (G30A) model is available in 24- and 27-inch sizes, with both versions featuring Full HD resolution, 250 nits maximum brightness, 1 ms response time (GTG rendering), 144Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium technology, and DisplayPort connectors 1.2 and HDMI 1.2.

All new monitors feature a tilt, tilt and swivel height-adjustable stand, Black Equalizer and RGB CoreSync Lighting, low latency, Ultrawide Game View modes (21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratio) and Eye Saver Mode and Picture-by-Picture modes and Picture-in-Picture.

When the new models will be launched and how much they will cost is unknown at this time.
