Introducing Samsung's flexible phone Galaxy From Fold 3 it's almost out the door. Both old and new anecdotal reports indicate that his flagship "puzzle" for this year will be released in August. It will be available worldwide, including China. And it is for China that the Korean technology giant is preparing a more premium model of the third Fold called Samsung W22 5G.

The Samsung W22 5G follows on from last year's special folding smartphone model Galaxy From Fold 2 called W21 5G. It differed from the standard model (apart from the two SIM card slots) only in appearance - firstly in size (it was significantly higher) and secondly in the luxury-inducing design with vertical stripes adorning the gold finish.

The W21 5G was an exclusive of the Chinese mobile operator China Telecom, which sold it for half the price of the standard Fold 2 (specifically for 19 yuan, i.e. roughly 999 crowns).

As for the W22 5G, it should be offered in black and in a 512GB storage variant. Apparently, it will have the same hardware parameters as the standard Fold 3, but in terms of design, there could be some minor cosmetic changes. How much it will cost is not known at this time, but it is possible that Samsung will decide to sell it more than the W21 5G. Despite the very high price, there was a lot of interest in the luxurious "bender" and it quickly sold out.

The W22 5G should be available in China at the same time as the standard Fold 3 goes on sale, which is said to be in August.
