As you know from our previous news, Samsung is preparing a new Exynos flagship chip with a graphics chip from AMD this year (according to the latest unofficial reports, it will be presented in July). Now it has penetrated the ether informace, that the Exynos 2200 might not only power smartphones Galaxy.

According to a new leak circulating on the Chinese social network Weibo, the Exynos 2200 could appear in Vivo's flagship smartphone. And it is quite possible, because the Chinese manufacturer has used Exynos chipsets in its phones in the past, see Exynos 1080 in smartphones Vivo X60 a Vivo X60 Pro. However, these devices were limited to the Chinese market, with their international versions using the Snapdragon 870 chip.

System LSI (Samsung's division that designs Exynos chips) is also rumored to be in talks with other Chinese brands, including Xiaomi and Oppo. If Samsung wants to get its next Exynos into other brands' phones, it needs to release a truly high-end chip that's not only feature-rich, but also power-efficient.

The Exynos 2200 should have one ARM Cortex-X2 processor core, three Cortex-A710 cores and four Cortex-A510 cores. It will most likely be manufactured by the Samsung Foundry division using its 5nm process. AMD's GPU integrated into the chipset will be based on the processor giant's latest RDNA2 architecture. It will support advanced technologies such as ray tracing or variable shading speed.
