As you know from our previous reports, Samsung is set to introduce two new smartwatches this year – Galaxy Watch 4 to Galaxy Watch Active 4. As the first watch from the Korean tech giant, it will be software powered by a new version of the operating system WearOS. Thanks to various leaks from the past months and weeks, we already know a lot about them, and now the first renders of the second mentioned watch have leaked into the air.

Renders show Galaxy Watch Active 4 in four colors – black, silver, green and gold. It also follows from them that the watch will have as a predecessor Galaxy Watch Active 2 circular display. It should be protected by 2D glass.

The most visible changes can be seen in the design of the frame, buttons and strap. The watch itself seems thicker and the band wider. The two buttons on the right edge also have a different shape than the predecessor. According to the leaks so far, the watch will be made of aluminum, offered in sizes 40 and 42 or 44 mm or 39 and 43 mm and as Galaxy Watch 4 to use an unspecified 5nm chipset, support Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and wireless charging, and have IP68 resistance and heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep monitoring and fall detection functions. Together with Galaxy Watch 4 should be released in August.
