As you know from our previous news, Samsung is preparing a flagship Exynos chipset with a graphics chip from AMD. Although the Korean tech giant has yet to reveal what performance improvements we can expect from the chipset, which is likely to be called the Exynos 2200, it was leaked earlier this year the first benchmark, which showed that the new chipset is significantly faster than Apple's current flagship A14 Bionic chipset. Now the "next-gen" Exynos appeared in another benchmark, where the Apple chip once again convincingly beat it.

According to the well-known leaker Ice universe, Samsung is currently testing a new Exynos with Cortex-A77 cores. He published a screenshot from the 3DMark benchmark application, when the new generation Wild Life Exynos achieved 8134 points with an average framerate of 50 fps. Compared to that iPhone 12 Pro Max with the A14 Bionic chip in it scored 7442 points with an average frame rate of 40 fps. For comparison, the leaker also measured the performance of Samsung's current flagship chip Exynos 2100, which scored 5130 points in the test with an average framerate of 30,70 fps. Let's add that a phone was tested with this chip Galaxy S21Ultra.

"In the end" the Exynos 2200 could offer even higher performance in terms of graphics, as it will most likely use Cortex-X2 and Cortex-A710 processor cores, which are much faster than the Cortex-A77 cores used in the test. The new Exynos, which should exist in both smartphone and laptop versions, will be introduced as early as next month, according to the latest unofficial reports.
