It is not unusual for smartphones to experience display problems from time to time. However, if you are using a device from a company whose products are known for excellent reliability, any such case will attract more attention. Like now, when several cases involving phone displays have been reported Galaxy S20. Specifically, their screens suddenly stop working. Cause? Unknown.

The first complaints about this problem began to appear back in May, and it seems to mostly affect the S20+ and S20 Ultra models. According to affected users, the problem manifests itself in the fact that the display first starts to line up, then the line up becomes more intense, and finally the screen turns white or green and freezes.

As one would expect, the issue was brought to the attention of affected users on Samsung's official forums. The moderator suggested them to start the device in safe mode and try a reset. However, this did not seem to solve the problem. Many users on the forums said that the only way to solve it was to replace the display. If the device in question is no longer under warranty, it can be a very expensive solution.

This is not the first case involving problems with Samsung smartphone displays. A recent example can be cited Galaxy The S20 FE and its touchscreen woes. However, those have been fixed by the Korean tech giant with software updates, while the latest case seems to be a hardware issue. Samsung has not yet commented on the matter, but it is likely that it will do so soon.
