Samsung launched a new generation of its modular microLED TV The Wall. The Wall 2021 is thinner than its predecessor, can display more accurate colors, has a higher refresh rate or improved AI.

The Wall 2021 is the first commercially available screen in its segment with 8K resolution. It can be configured horizontally to support resolutions up to 16K. It also boasts a brightness of up to 1600 nits and measures more than 25m in length.

In addition, the TV is equipped with an improved Micro AI processor that analyzes and optimizes each frame in the video for better scaling of content (up to 8K resolution) and also helps with noise removal.

The novelty also has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and, thanks to Black Seal and Ultra Chroma technologies, it can display more accurate colors. Each LED is 40% smaller than the previous model, which means better black rendering and better color uniformity. Other functions are HDR10+, picture-by-picture (2 x 2) or Eye Comfort mode (certified by TÜV Rheinland).

The TV can be installed not only horizontally, but also vertically, convexly and concavely, or it can be hung from the ceiling. It can be used, for example, in airports, shopping centers, retail or outdoor advertising. It's available now in select markets (which Samsung didn't specify).
