Until the introduction of Samsung's next flagship series Galaxy Although S22 is at least half a year away, first leaks however, they have been circulating about it for some time. The latest leak suggests that the phones in the series will get significantly higher performance compared to their predecessors.

According to a leaker appearing on Twitter under the name Tron, Samsung is testing 65W fast charging on all three models. Recall that the vast majority of the latest flagships of the Korean smartphone giant use 25W charging (higher - 45W charging - only phones support Galaxy S20Ultra a Galaxy Note 10 +).

Charging with a power of 65 W is offered, for example, by the OnePlus 9 Pro or Xiaomi Mi Ultra smartphones, while charging from scratch costs 29 or 40 minutes. For comparison - Galaxy Notes 20 Ultra can be fully charged in 25 minutes using a 70W charger, which is really a lot these days. It is therefore high time for Samsung to catch up with its (especially Chinese) competitors in this area.

However, it's important to keep in mind that faster charging degrades battery life faster than slower charging, so this could be a problem for Samsung if it goes in that direction. However, solutions to this problem are already starting to appear, such as smart charging that learns from how the user uses the phone and only charges to 100% when the user really needs the device.
