Samsung introduced a new smart watch two weeks ago Galaxy Watch 4 to Watch 4 Classic. They are supposed to go on sale at the end of the week, but the Korean technology giant has already started releasing the first firmware update for them.

The update is labeled R8xxXXU1BUH5 and is 290,5 MB in size. According to the release notes, it brings increased stability and better performance, fixes unspecified bugs, and improves the watch's current features.

The fact that Samsung released the first update for its new watch so soon indicates that it intends to support it - just like smartphones - in terms of software.

Just to remind you – the new series of watches got 40 and 44 mm sizes (model Watch 4) and 42 and 46 mm (model Watch 4 Classic), Super AMOLED display with a size of 1,2 or 1,4 inches, Samsung's new Exynos W920 chipset, 1,5 GB of operating system and 16 GB of internal memory, the function of measuring heart rate, blood oxygen levels, EKG and, now, the amount of components in the body structure, improved sleep monitoring, up to 40 hours of endurance on a single charge, (for many finally) Google Pay support and runs on a new operating system Wear OS Powered by Samsung with also the new One UI superstructure Watch. It will hit stores on August 27.
