Samsung continues to roll out the August security patch to more devices. One of its latest recipients is last year's mid-range tablet Galaxy Tab A7, specifically its LTE version.

Latest update for Galaxy The Tab A7 LTE carries firmware version T505XXU3BUH3 and is currently distributed in various European countries, including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Switzerlandcarska, France, Italy, Spain or Great Britain.

The August security patch fixes nearly four dozen exploits, two of which have been marked as critical and 23 as highly dangerous. These vulnerabilities were found in the system Android, so they were fixed by Google itself. In addition, the patch contains fixes for two vulnerabilities discovered in smartphones Galaxy, which was fixed by Samsung. One of them was marked as highly dangerous and related to the reuse of the initialization vector, the other was, according to Samsung, low-risk and related to the UAF (Use After Free) memory exploit in the conn_gadget driver.

As the month draws to a close, Samsung should start rolling out the September security patch in the coming days.
