Samsung has started releasing a security patch for its first devices for the month of September. One of its first recipients is the smartphone Galaxy S20FE 5G.

New update for Galaxy The S20 FE 5G carries firmware version G781BXXU4CUH5 and is a whopping 790MB. According to the release notes, in addition to bringing the September security patch, the update also improves the overall stability of the device and improves its performance. However, as usual, Samsung is not giving details.

 

What the September security patch specifically fixes is unknown at this time, Samsung said informace for security reasons, it is published with a delay (usually a few days, weeks at most). The update is currently distributed in the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Switzerlandcarsku, Italy, Luxembourg, Slovenia and the Baltic and Scandinavian countries. It should spread to other corners of the world in the coming days.

If the new update on your Galaxy S20 FE 5G hasn't arrived yet, you can check it manually by opening it Settings, by tapping the option Software update and selecting an option Download and install.
