Samsung's new smart watch Galaxy Watch 4 to Watch 4 Classic started receiving a new update that brings the function of listening offline in the popular music streaming service Spotify. However, for users of the free version, the much-welcomed feature is limited.

Even before Samsung unveiled its new smartwatch, Spotify said it was updating its own Wear OS application to support downloadable content. It confirmed this once again after the watch was put on stage.

This update will now be available on Galaxy Watch 4 to Watch 4 Classic, as it is powered by software Wear OS. The offline listening feature allows Premium plan subscribers to download albums, playlists and podcasts and listen to them when they are not connected to the Internet. Users of the free version of Spotify will have limited functionality - only podcasts will be able to download and listen offline.

Both watches have 16 GB of internal memory, so there will be more than enough space for your favorite content. The new feature should be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
