Samsung really did an excellent job when they released the Androidu 11 based One UI 3.1 superstructure on most of its devices. With the upcoming Androidem 12 it's time to see what the Korean tech giant has in store for us in 2021.

Samsung has already confirmed that the new superstructure accompanying Android 12 will be called One UI 4.0, and also that the One UI 4.0 beta will arrive in the coming weeks. At the moment it is not clear which markets the beta will be available in, but it is likely to be seven countries like last years, namely South Korea, USA, Germany, Poland, UK, China and India.

Samsung usually releases One UI betas first on its latest flagship series Galaxy And this year will be no different. Beta One UI 4.0 will arrive first on the phones of the series Galaxy S21, that is Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra before expanding to other devices.

Here is the list of Samsung smartphones and tablets that will get the update with Androidem 12 and the sharp version of One UI 4.0:

The list may not be final, and the superstructure may be extended to other devices in the future. It should be the first to receive - just like the beta version - a series Galaxy S21, this December or next January. It should gradually reach other devices starting in the first quarter of 2022.

Otherwise, the upcoming extension should bring a number of new functions and come with a visual change of the interface. It should be dominated by an updated color palette and new icons, and the overall look should be inspired by the Material You design language that Google uses in Androidu 12. In addition, notification management or the camera should also receive an update. One of the novelties, and certainly a very welcome one, will also be the removal of advertisements from Samsung's native applications. And last but not least, the superstructure will be optimized so that it is able to make full use of top hardware such as Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100.
