Samsung continues to roll out the September security patch to more devices. One of its latest recipients are the phones of the previous year's flagship series Galaxy S10.

New update for Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 to Galaxy The S10+ carries firmware version G97xFXXSCFUH5 and is currently distributed in Švýcarsku. It should reach other corners of the world in the following days. The update includes the correction of unspecified bugs and stability improvements.

At the moment, it is still unknown what exactly the new security patch fixes, but we should know very soon. Just a reminder - the last security patch fixed almost four dozen exploits, two of which were marked as critical and 23 as highly dangerous. These vulnerabilities were found in the system Android, so they were fixed by Google itself. In addition, the patch included fixes for two vulnerabilities discovered in smartphones Galaxy, which was fixed by Samsung. One of them was marked as highly dangerous and related to the reuse of the initialization vector, the other was, according to Samsung, low-risk and related to the UAF (Use After Free) memory exploit in the conn_gadget driver.

The August security patch has already arrived on smartphones, among others Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy A52 and A72 and series Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20 a Galaxy From Flip.
