Samsung announced that SmartThings Find, which first launched last October, continues to grow rapidly, with more than 100 million devices now connected Galaxy. The owners of these devices have agreed to use them as Find Nodes to locate supported devices. Thanks to the SmartThings ecosystem, which is a cutting-edge technology enabling the connection and control of various devices in a smart home, 230 devices are located daily using this function.

The fast-growing SmartThings Find service allows you to determine the location of supported and registered smartphones Galaxy, smartwatches, headphones or even the S Pen Pro stylus. Smart pendants are used to search for personal belongings, e.g. keys or wallet Galaxy Smart Tag or SmartTag +. An important part of the SmartThings ecosystem, SmartThings Find uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology to locate lost devices. Thanks to the transmitted signal, the device can be found even if it is disconnected from the communication network. If the wanted device is already too far from its owner's smartphone, other smartphone or tablet users can automatically help in the search Galaxy, who enable the application to receive a signal from lost devices in the vicinity and then anonymously send their location to the SmartThings server.

Another enhancement to SmartThings Find is the newly launched SmartThings Find Members service, which allows users to invite family members and friends to become members of their SmartThings account so they can also find and manage their devices. You can add up to 19 other people to one account and search for up to 200 devices at once. For people who accept your invitation to SmartThings Find Members, you can choose whether they can see your selected devices and their location with your consent.

The new service will be especially appreciated by families who need to keep an eye on pets or have an overview of where the car keys are at the moment - in case they don't have their phone with them at the moment.
