Samsung launched its first at the beginning of this year OLED panels for notebooks. At the time, he mentioned that numerous laptop vendors had shown interest in them. Now, the Korean tech giant has announced that its OLED panels for notebooks have entered mass production.

Samsung's 14-inch OLED panels with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and Full HD resolution will be the first to appear in ASUS ZenBook and VivoBook Pro notebooks. Samsung Display mentioned that its OLED panels will also make their way into laptops from Dell, HP, Lenovo and Samsung Electronics. According to unofficial reports, Samsung's OLED screens could also be used in the future Apple. For completeness, let's add that Samsung Display also produces 16-inch OLED panels with 4K resolution.

OLED screens offer better color rendering, deeper blacks, faster response times, higher brightness and contrast, and wider viewing angles than LCD panels. HDR and game content will also look better on an OLED panel compared to an LCD screen. OLED panels will be used by more high-end laptops in the future.
