Advice Galaxy A and M are a big success for Samsung. Millions of these models have been sold worldwide, and they are particularly successful in emerging markets. Customers appreciate their functions and very good price/performance ratio. However, now there are reports in the air that some models Galaxy A and M suffer from a mysterious problem that causes them to "freeze" and restart automatically.

Reports, mostly from India, suggest that these issues are happening frequently and are making the devices in question almost unusable. Some users are also reporting that their devices get stuck in a reboot loop – they can't get past the Samsung logo.

On the official forums of Samsung India, reports of these problems started appearing a few months ago. Samsung has not yet commented on the matter, so it is not known whether it is a hardware or software problem. In any case, there is a common denominator – all the devices in question have Exynos 9610 and 9611 chipsets. However, it is not clear if this fact has anything to do with these problems. There have also been no reports of similar troubles outside India so far.

Owners of the devices in question who took them to a Samsung service center were told that they would have to have the motherboard replaced, which would cost around CZK 2. It is understandable that many do not want to pay such an amount when they did not cause this problem themselves.
